MacBook Donation
For the past few years EGDI has worked with the Diamante Scholars Program of Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, California with donating MacBook Pros to the students of the program moving on to the next part of their educational journey.
We have been so fortunate to be able to give back to the community by helping these students with one less major expense and giving them a powerful tool that will help them get to their dream.

For this campaign EGDI is looking to donate laptops to the students of the incredible DVC Diamante Scholars Program as a gift for them to continue following their dreams as they transition to a four year college.
The Diamante Scholars program helps high school students with overlooked and unseen potential find a path to higher education and career success. Diamante and EGDI believe that the skills and capabilities that make for a successful career for many people have little to do with academic success and very much to do with a desire and capacity to learn, to be effective problem solvers, and to develop trusted working and personal relationships.
EGDI's goal for the 2025 graduating cohort is to collect 25 MacBooks. One MacBook for each of the 25 students that are a part of the scholar program! These laptops will be given as a gift for completing their studies at Diablo Valley College and a tool for them to use as they transition to their four year college.
We would like to thank Peter Zaballos, the founder of the Diamante Scholars, for giving EGDI a chance to make a contribution to his amazing innovative scholar program and an opportunity to support the students chasing their dreams.
This goal is very ambitious and it is going to be a true community effort. We are going to need all the help we can get. The two best contributions towards this goal are through donations and/or helping bring awareness to this fundraising campaign. Any social media share, like, or comment will help spread awareness.
